Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame

The Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI established the Acadian and Francophone Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame in 2020 to further honour long-time entrepreneurs who have made significant contributions to the island economy throughout their careers.

This «Business Hall of Fame» is located in the meeting room of Wellington's Rural Action Centre. On the wall of honour is the Hall of Fame's large logo, along with the Chamber of Commerce logo, as well as recognition of the Hall of Fame's official sponsor, Caisse populaire Provincial (formerly named Evangeline-Central). This large plaque is surrounded by photos of the Hall of Fame's entrepreneurs.

First, all past winners of the Chamber's Distinguished Entrepreneur Award were inducted, along with entrepreneurs who won national awards from RDÉE Canada's Lauriers de la PME. Starting in 2021, it will also induct the annual winners of the Chamber's Hall of Fame Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence (now replacing the former Distinguished Entrepreneur Award).
